The calendar of the West is marked by the birth of a man-god, who became body and soul, his absence being the great motivator of the faith of millions of Christians throughout the world. What is body, soul, faith? How do we assimilate all this in the family, school and society? For Michel de Certeau, in the Christian tradition, the absence of this body provoked the creation of institutions and discourses, effects and substitutes of this absence, like the ecclesiastical and doctrinal bodies, mystical favors and existential doubts. What does it mean to want to make a body through the word and the rite? This issue raises delicate reflections on the relationship between Body, Religion and Education in this and other religious traditions.
