Upward Spiral

As the title poem suggests, a reader will never know the whole story. And yet, I feel as if I'm thumbing through a photo album while listening to the Goldberg Variations¿-¿wandering along cobbled streets to meet a sighing dog, pausing to play a game of chess with a shadow, reaching out to touch a green ribbon tied around a tree. This exquisite collection brings us joy¿-¿the joy of gathering fragments and weaving a story of our own.
