Aloes of Uganda

This book provides the first comprehensive account of all known aloe species in Uganda, and the first based on extensive fieldwork.There are currently 24 aloe taxa recognized in Uganda. Each plant is introduced with a description of the species, highlighting its distinguishing features and relationship to other aloe species. One new subspecies is described. Information is also given on the geographical distribution, habitat and ecology of the plants. The book is extensively illustrated with over 150 photos and maps to aid identification of each aloe in the field.
